Hello! Welcome to The Enchanted Wood, my name is Natalie and I’m a self taught textile artist-maker, originally from Yorkshire and now based in the North East. I've been designing, making and selling handmade for over twenty years and following a pagan path for almost as long. My path loosely follows that of a modern Druid but I do not adhere to any one tradition. The very life force that runs through all of nature is my religion and my creative inspiration.
The Enchanted Wood originally opened in 2010 as an Etsy store, serving as a creative outlet while my children were still young. In 2017 after a few dormant years I relaunched it selling textile-art cards and other items inspired by nature and pagan symbolism. When the Covid pandemic came along things got put on a back burner while I dealt with the physical and mental health fallout from that but in 2024 I finally found a way through the trees and found myself back in the Enchanted Wood.
I hope you enjoy browsing my shop. I am unfortunately unable to take requests and custom orders due to carer responsibilities and chronic illness but everything available to purchase in my shop is ready to ship, which I do within 24 hours!
